TSA veterans with over 35 years of combined experience with active congressional relationships and national media partnerships, standing up for federal employees when it matters most.
Against Giants Labor Advocates was founded by two TSA veterans who spent decades advocating for officers at the frontlines of airport security. We understand how federal employees face complex bureaucracies, unfair discipline, discrimination, and retaliation, challenges that require experienced, dedicated advocates who are still in the fight.
We founded Against Giants because TSA officers deserve professional advocacy from people who know the system inside and out, who've walked in your shoes, and who bring the same intensity and expertise built over decades of frontline TSA service and workplace advocacy.
Our name says it all: we help individuals stand against institutional giants. With the right strategy, experience, and commitment, one person can prevail against overwhelming odds. We've seen it happen. We've made it happen.
Scott brings over 20 years of TSA experience and more than a decade of labor advocacy leadership to Against Giants. He has represented hundreds of TSA employees across Virginia, achieving significant growth in client participation and a documented reduction in employee grievances through effective advocacy.
Scott's advocacy work has been recognized by national media organizations including CNBC, BBC, NPR, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. Against Giants maintains active media partnerships with national outlets covering the federal workforce, bringing the TSA officer perspective into reporting that shapes public and congressional understanding of these issues.
He led crisis response during both the 2019 and 2025-2026 government shutdowns, organizing food distribution for unpaid workers at multiple Virginia airports in partnership with regional food banks, and coordinating directly with congressional offices to bring members of Congress to airport checkpoints to hear from officers firsthand.
Scott maintains active working relationships with congressional offices across Virginia and the mid-Atlantic region, providing ongoing briefings on TSA workforce issues, pending legislation, and the evolving collective bargaining environment.
Sherry brings extensive frontline advocacy experience specializing in grievance representation, disciplinary proceedings, and EEOC complaint support. A Navy veteran and woman of color, her military service and diverse background bring unique perspective and credibility to Against Giants' work.
Her hands-on approach and deep knowledge of TSA policies made her one of the most trusted advocates among officers facing workplace challenges. Known for meticulous case preparation and strategic thinking, Sherry has represented dozens of employees in complex disciplinary matters, helping them navigate investigations, appeals, and discrimination complaints with professionalism and expertise.
Sherry's commitment to worker advocacy stems from her belief that every federal employee deserves competent, dedicated representation regardless of their circumstances or the power of the institutions they face.
After over a decade of workplace advocacy leadership, we recognized that TSA officers sometimes need alternatives when their primary representation isn't available, isn't responsive, or doesn't meet their specific needs. TSA's attempt to eliminate collective bargaining, currently blocked by federal court injunction and heading to a September 2026 bench trial, has made that need more acute, not less.
We founded Against Giants to fill that gap, providing professional advocacy from TSA veterans with proven track records, active congressional relationships, and national media partnerships that amplify the TSA officer perspective where it matters. We are not a substitute for legal counsel. We are experienced advocates who know the terrain, know the players, and show up. That commitment extends to how we bill. When officers are not getting paid, we are not getting paid. Billing is suspended during any funding lapse affecting TSA pay, without exception.
Against Giants is actively accepting clients. $35/month. No contracts, no initiation fees. Cancel anytime.
